Recipe: Cinnamon Toast Rolls

This recipe is perfect for when you want cinnamon rolls but don't have the time or ingredients to make them from scratch.

  • White bread slices
  • Butter, melted
  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Step 1:

Cut the crust off your slices of bread.

Step 2:

Roll out the bread to smush it and make it thinner. If you don't have a rolling pin you can also use a clean glass jar to smush each slice.

Step 3:

Brush the melted butter on both sides of the bread.

Step 4:

Sprinkle one side with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.

Step 5:

Fold the bread in half like a triangle.

Step 6:

Fold again.

Step 7:

Place on a cookie sheet to bake in the oven. Sprinkle more cinnamon sugar on top.

Step 8:

Bake until golden brown - about 15 to 20 minutes. Once they are finished, whip up a mixture of powdered sugar and water or milk to make icing and drizzle over the warm cinnamon toast.

You could also roll the toast instead of folding it. When you bake it place it in a muffin tin so it stays rolled.
