We had quite the lazy weekend here. It's been raining quite a bit in Edinburgh so we've been cooped up inside mostly. On Friday we went for a crazy run through the Meadows (a huge gorgeous park near our house, but it was a little intense as it was raining a lot and there were 30mph winds blowing us every which way. Ironically though, it was our best run yet, so we didn't complain too much!
Friday night we went and had dinner at a friend's house. Delicious homemade guacamole, bruschetta, nachos, and caprese skewers were enjoyed by all.
Sunday, we had breakfast in bed, watched movies, cartoons, and lazed around before calling our good 'ole pops to wish them happy father's day.
Overall, a splendid relaxing weekend.
Here's some links to interesting things:
- Coffee, Coffee, Coffee. Two beautiful videos: Vietnamese coffee and a French Press
- They just came out with the documentary Britain in a Day. Have you seen the original Life in a Day movie? It's on Youtube and Netflix. I highly recommend you check it out.
- Umm hello! This is beautiful! This couple had a video made of their bike-filled wedding day. It's adorably creative and so well documented I felt like I was watching a scripted movie and not someone's wedding. Quite touching.
- Have you seen this awesome app/website: GetYardSale.com? It's like a pretty version of Craigslist with epic vintage items. Like a 1920s mahjong bone and ivory tile set, a mid-century lounge chair, or even a 1930s Wedgewood Stove. So rad!
